Follow up to the GPS post and knowing where you are, what about where you go?
Using your cell phone to call 411 is a strange experience depending upon your carrier. Check out GOOGLE 411. It is swell, but primarily for business look-ups. Google 411, and it is free.
From Google:
Search for businesses by name or category. Can’t stand typing? GOOG-411 will understand your voice and find the business you’re looking for. Search by name (“Giovanni’s pizza”) or category (“Pizza”).

Find Government Contracts

FederalSpending.gov has been re-launched as USAspending.gov hopefully to ease searches of government contracts and spending. I wrote a post back in November on FederalSpending.gov as the site to search federal contracts.
Search to identify the new site, US Spending, who beat you out of those federal contracts. Get easy access to the spending.
