Dinolt Becnel & Wells Investigative Group LLC, a private investigative firm with offices in Denver, San Francisco and Arlington, Virginia, is seeking a full-time Investigator for an immediate opening in the firm’s Arlington office.

The position involves conducting investigations regarding various civil and criminal matters in and around the Washington, DC area and requires exceptional interviewing and communication skills. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree at a regionally accredited university; one year of conducting investigative interviews on a full-time basis, either as a government or private detective or as an investigative journalist; a current DCJS registration as a Private Investigator in Virginia; an operable and properly-registered motor vehicle; and successful completion of an extensive background investigation, to include criminal and credit history.

Compensation ranges from $18 to $24 per hour (nonexempt), annual bonuses, a stipend for training, and participation in the company’s health insurance program and 401K plan. The investigator will be assigned a company laptop, mobile phone and credit card, as well as all other equipment and training necessary to perform his or her duties. Additionally, the firm will sponsor/ provide the Investigator with detective licenses for Maryland, Washington, DC.
